Invitation to free tours
On the initiative of the Association of Croatian Tourist Guide Associations, and on the occasion of the International Recognition Day of the Republic of Croatia, the Association of Tourist Guides of Kvarner traditionally invites all interested citizens and visitors of Kvarner to free organized tours on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the following locations:
- THE CITY OF RIJEKA - From Adriatic Square to Bonavia - a walk around the city center; departure point is Jadranski trg, Rijeka
- VEPRINAC - Walking around Leprince - sightseeing and visiting the Church of St. Brand and ethno-collections; departure point is at the playground in front of Konzum (Tumpići 1, 51414 Veprinac)
- MALINSKA - Camino along Dubašnica - walk along the Camino route (8 km) and a visit to the DUBoak* maritime heritage interpretation center; departure point is Porat - large parking lot behind the monastery of St. Mary Magdalene (Porat 28, 51 511 Porat)
- OPATIJA - Famous couples in Opatija's past - thematic city tour; departure point is at the bus station in Slatina, behind Ina's pump (Trg Vladimira Gortan, 51230, Opatija)
Tours of Rijeka, Veprinec and Opatija last about ninety minutes, while the program in Dubašnica lasts about four hours. All tours will take place regardless of weather conditions, but adjustments to the program are possible and therefore announcements are required to the e-mail address: kvarner.guides@gmail.com. The organizers request that the announcement must state the number of registered persons, their names and the location for which you are applying.
